UP Police Constable 2025 Final Result Out — 32,679 Candidates Selected
The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board declared the final selection result of Constable (Civil Police) and equivalent posts Direct Recruitment 2025 on 14 October 2026. All 32,679 posts across seven cadres are filled; candidates check their result with registration number and date of birth.

About this notification
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has declared the final selection result of the Constable (Civil Police) and equivalent posts Direct Recruitment 2025. The notice is dated 14 October 2026 and closes the recruitment advertised on 31 December 2025.
How the cycle ran
- About 28.87 lakh online applications (28,86,797) were received.
- The written examination was held in six shifts on 8, 9 and 10 June 2026 in all 75 districts. Because it ran in several shifts, marks were normalised.
- On 31 July 2026 the Board called 76,184 candidates, roughly 2.33 times the posts in each category, for document scrutiny and the physical standard test, held from 17 to 31 August 2026.
- Those who passed took the qualifying physical efficiency test from 1 to 11 October 2026.
- The final list is drawn up on normalised written marks and each candidate’s order of preference in the application form, under the state’s reservation rules. Ties are settled by preferential qualification, then higher age, then the first letter of the name in English alphabetical order.

The notice also gives separate cut-offs for dependants of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen and home guards in each cadre.
What to do next
Check your result on the Board’s website with your registration number and date of birth. Lists for each cadre are published overall and by category (UR, EWS, OBC, SC and ST), in order of marks.
Selection is still subject to the medical examination, and to checks of educational qualification, reservation certificates and character, done by the appointing authority. The Board says normalised written marks of every candidate who took the exam will be made available in the third and fourth weeks of November, with a separate notice on how to view them.
