This exam sets different age limits for different posts. You are checked against every band below, and the result says which posts your age admits you to.
The notice lists age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC and ex-servicemen only; there is no PwBD relaxation for these uniformed posts. Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF also admits matriculation with a three-year engineering diploma (para 7.2).
Selection includes a Physical Standard Test and a Physical Endurance Test. The height and chest norms are below; weight must correspond to height, and women have no chest requirement.

Each post needs a degree or a three-year diploma in the relevant engineering stream (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or, for DoT and IMD, the streams named in para 2), and some posts need two years’ experience on top. Those are set per post, so we check age only — read para 2 of the notice for your post.

The degree must be in Engineering (or one of the professional examinations listed in para 3(III) of the notification). A degree in any other subject does not qualify. The notification sets no limit on the number of attempts.

Each of the nine posts has its own medical or paramedical qualification in Annexure A of the CEN (GNM or B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, DMLT and so on), so we check age only. Relaxations are not cumulative: the largest one you qualify for applies.

Bihar reserves for Backward Class (BC) and Extremely Backward Class (EBC), not “OBC”: choose OBC here if you are BC or EBC. Reservation and relaxation apply to permanent residents of Bihar only.
Unreserved women have the same upper age limit as BC/EBC candidates, 40 years, which the tool cannot tell from the category alone. SC/ST candidates of either sex: 42.
There is no limit on the number of attempts for most candidates; the advertisement caps serving Bihar government employees at five attempts (para 4(i)).
