Pick your exam, choose the document, and select a picture. It is cropped, resized and saved as a JPG inside the KB range the official notice sets — with the notice and paragraph shown, so you can check.
No notice says whether a KB is 1,000 or 1,024 bytes, so every file is sized to pass under both: at least the minimum × 1,024 bytes and at most the maximum × 1,000.
The application portal is the final check. If it refuses a file, the message it shows is the rule to follow — and please tell us, so we can fix the preset.

Not here yet: UPSC, whose site does not let our checker read its notices, and RRB NTPC (CEN 06/2026), whose notice was not available on rrbapply.gov.in. They will be added from their own documents, not from another website.
