MP Police Constable (Driver) 2026 — 1,000 Posts for Men, Apply by 29 October

Eligibility

- Men only. 18 to 33 years for unreserved and EWS candidates from Madhya Pradesh and for all candidates from other states; up to 38 for MP-domicile SC, ST and OBC candidates and government employees.
- Age relaxation
- Only for MP-domicile candidates: Vikram Award winners get 5 more years (33+5 = 38 unreserved, 38+5 = 43 reserved); inter-caste marriage cases up to 38. No relaxation for candidates from other states.
- Qualification
- Class 10 (under the 10+2 system), Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination passed (Class 8 for Scheduled Tribe candidates), and a driving licence for a heavy vehicle. A separate practical trade test must also be passed.
About this notification
The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has published the rulebook for the Constable (Driver) Recruitment Test 2026, held for the Police Headquarters, Bhopal. The posts are for men only:
- 200 Constable (Driver) posts in the Special Armed Force (SAF);
- 800 in the units other than the SAF.
The online form opens on MPOnline on 15 October 2026 and closes on 29 October 2026; corrections are allowed until 3 November. Age is counted on 29 October 2026.
Besides the educational qualification, a driving licence for a heavy vehicle is mandatory, and candidates must pass a separate practical trade test.
The written test is scheduled to begin on 4 January 2027, in two shifts a day (10:00–12:00 and 15:00–17:00). An Aadhaar registration is mandatory, and biometric verification is done at entry and during the test. Admit cards are downloaded from the board’s website using the application number.
