- For Uttar Pradesh domiciles only: SC, ST, OBC and UP State Government employees 5 years — after the 5 January 2026 corrigendum, men born 2 July 1995 to 1 July 2007 and women born 2 July 1992 to 1 July 2007. UP ex-servicemen: army service is deducted from actual age and the resultant age may be at most 3 years over the limit, i.e. not 28 (men) or 31 (women) as on 1 July 2025 after the corrigendum (25/28 in the original para 2.9 table). Only one preferential qualification and the largest single age relaxation apply.

- Intermediate (Class 12) from a board established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government (para 2.6). The certificate or mark sheet must be held at the time of applying; candidates who have appeared or are appearing are not eligible (note i). Preferential qualifications, used only to break ties: DOEACC/NIELIT 'O' level certificate, at least two years in the Territorial Army, or NCC 'B' certificate (para 2.7).

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s notification No. PRPB-B(Constable PAC and other cadres)-07/2025 of 31 December 2025 (35 pages, Hindi) invites online applications for seven posts in Pay Band 5200–20200 with Grade Pay 2000, now Pay Level-3 (₹21,700–69,100) (para 1–1.1): Constable Civil Police 10,469 (UR 4,191, EWS 1,046, OBC 2,826, SC 2,198, ST 208), Constable PAC/Armed Police 15,131 (men only), Constable Special Security Force 1,341 (men), Women Constable for the Women Battalions at Lucknow, Badaun and Gorakhpur 2,282 (women), Constable Mounted Police 71 (men), Jail Warder 3,279 (men) and Jail Warder 106 (women) — 32,679 in all (para 1.2, pp.1–3). The number may be changed at any time before the examination (para 1.3). Candidates must rank the posts in order of preference in the form and cannot change it later (para 2.3).
Applications were online only after One Time Registration, from 31 December 2025 to 30 January 2026, with fee reconciliation until 2 February 2026 (para 2–2.1). The fee is ₹500 for General, EWS and OBC and ₹400 for SC and ST (para 2.4). Eligibility: Intermediate or equivalent, held at the time of applying (para 2.6); age 18–22 for men and 18–25 for women as on 1 July 2025, with 5 years’ relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and UP State Government employees and 3 years for UP ex-servicemen after deducting service, all for UP domiciles (para 2.8–2.9, 4.1). The corrigendum of 5 January 2026 (same number) grants a one-time additional 3-year relaxation to every category under Rule 3 of the UP Public Services (Relaxation of Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules 1992: men born 2 July 2000 to 1 July 2007 and women born 2 July 1997 to 1 July 2007 for General/EWS, and 2 July 1995 / 2 July 1992 for the reserved categories. Candidates with more than one living spouse are ineligible (para 2.11); dismissed and morally-turpitude-convicted persons are ineligible (para 2.10).
Selection (para 3): an offline OMR written examination of 150 objective questions for 300 marks (2 marks each) in two hours, in four parts — General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude, Intelligence and Reasoning (syllabus in Appendix-1) — with minimum marks of 30% for UR, 25% for EWS and OBC and 20% for SC/ST, and normalisation across shifts under the Board’s notification of 18 December 2023 (para 3.1). Candidates shortlisted on merit are called for document scrutiny and the Physical Standard Test (para 3.2): men need height 168 cm (160 cm for ST) and chest 79 cm unexpanded / 84 cm expanded (77/82 for ST) with at least 5 cm expansion; women need height 152 cm (147 cm for ST) and weight at least 40 kg. Those who pass take the qualifying Physical Efficiency Test — 4.8 km in 25 minutes for men, 2.4 km in 14 minutes for women — run by a district committee chaired by a Deputy Collector (para 3.3). The final merit list is prepared category-wise from written-test marks; no waiting list is kept, and ties go to the preferential qualification, then to the older candidate, then to alphabetical order of name (para 3.4). The advertisement states no exam dates: it says the dates of the written examination, DV/PST and PET and the admit cards will be put on uppbpb.gov.in in due course (para 3.1 notes 3–4).
