These limits are from Advertisement 02/2026 (Constable, Operator); every CSBC advertisement sets its own. The notice counts the maximum on 1 August 2021, after a one-time 5-year relaxation — 25 unreserved, 27 for BC and EBC men, 28 for BC and EBC women, 30 for SC, ST and transgender candidates — which is the same as 30, 32, 33 and 35 on 1 August 2026, the date used here. BC and EBC: choose OBC (women may be one year older than shown). Reservation is for native residents of Bihar only. The qualification is Intermediate (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 50% marks (45% for SC and ST).
