RPSC AEn 2024 Mains Result: 1,528 Candidates Called for Interview
RPSC has declared the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive (Mains) Exam 2024 result: 1,214 Civil/Agriculture and 314 Mechanical/Electrical candidates qualify provisionally for interview against 1,059 posts. Interview dates will be announced later.

About this notification
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has declared the result of the main examination of the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive Examination 2024. The notice is dated 16 October 2026. The main examination was held on 22 and 23 March 2026, for Assistant Engineer posts in the Civil and Mechanical/Electrical branches.
How many qualified
Candidates who appeared and obtained the minimum qualifying marks under the service rules are declared successful for interview, purely provisionally and subject to their eligibility:
- Assistant Engineer, Civil/Agriculture (PHED, PWD, WRD and Panchayati Raj Department): 1,214 candidates
- Assistant Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical (PHED, PWD and WRD): 314 candidates
That is 1,528 in all, for 1,059 posts (1,014 advertised in August 2024 plus 45 added by two corrigenda). The results of 17 more candidates are withheld for administrative reasons; their roll numbers are in the notice.
Cut-off marks
For the Civil/Agriculture list, the notice marks most categories “ALL”, meaning every candidate who got the minimum qualifying marks under the service rules was called; categories where no such candidate was available are marked N.A. For the Mechanical/Electrical list, the cut-off for general-category (UR) candidates, including general women, is 271.50 marks. Full category-wise cut-offs, including horizontal reservation, are in the notice.
Court case
The result is subject to the final decision of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur, in D.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 1123/2025.
What to do next
Eligibility has not been checked yet; it will be checked at the interview, and only candidates found eligible under the advertisement will be interviewed. Download the latest detailed application form and attestation form from the Commission’s website, fill them in two copies, and bring them to the interview with all original educational, caste and other certificates and photocopies. The Commission will announce the interview dates in due course.
