About this notification
On 3 August 2026 the Staff Selection Commission declared the result of the Computer Based Examination of the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025, shortlisting 8,071 candidates (including two withheld) for the Havaldar PET/PST. Under para 9 of that write-up, the results of 727 candidates were not processed because of suspected malpractice in the CBE (para 20 of the Notice of Examination).
Some of those candidates approached the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench. Implementing the partial relief it granted, the Commission has now processed the 727 results: 542 candidates are shortlisted for the Havaldar PET/PST, but the candidature of all 542 is kept withheld on account of suspicious activities. The results of a further 15 candidates, listed by roll number in the write-up, are kept in sealed cover pending police investigation.
All other terms of the 3 August 2026 write-up remain unchanged.
