RRB NTPC 2026 Notification Out — 3,548 Graduate Posts, Apply by 6 November
The Railway Recruitment Boards have opened CEN 06/2026 for 3,548 graduate-level NTPC posts: Goods Train Manager, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor. Apply on rrbapply.gov.in from 8 October to 6 November 2026 (23:59); graduates aged 18–33 as on 1 January 2027 are eligible.

Eligibility

- 18–33 years for all four posts: born between 2 January 1994 and 1 January 2009 (both inclusive) for UR/EWS.
- Age relaxation
- SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10 years (13 with OBC-NCL, 15 with SC/ST). Ex-servicemen 3/6/8 years (UR-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC-ST) after deducting service. Serving Group C/erstwhile Group D railway staff with 3 years' service up to 40/43/45; widowed, divorced or judicially separated women not remarried up to 35/38/40. The largest single relaxation applies, not a sum (para 5.2).

- Degree from a recognised university or its equivalent.

The Railway Recruitment Boards have published Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2026 for the graduate-level Non-Technical Popular Categories. The notice appeared in the Employment News on 26 September 2026, and online applications run from 8 October to 6 November 2026 (23:59 hours) on rrbapply.gov.in.
Posts and vacancies (all RRBs, total 3,548):
- Goods Train Manager (Pay Level 5): 2,750
- Senior Clerk cum Typist (Level 5): 371
- Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist (Level 5): 300
- Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor (Level 6, initial pay ₹35,400): 127

Eligibility. A degree from a recognised university or its equivalent. Age is 18–33 years as on 1 January 2027: born not after 1 January 2009, and not before 2 January 1994 (UR/EWS), 2 January 1991 (OBC-NCL) or 2 January 1989 (SC/ST).
Fee. ₹500, of which ₹400 is refunded (less bank charges) on appearing in the first-stage CBT. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, female, transgender, minority and Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates pay ₹250, refunded in full (less bank charges) on appearing. The notice cautions that EBC is not the same as OBC or EWS. Fee payment closes 8 November 2026.
Corrections. Details other than those in the “Create an Account” form and the chosen RRB can be modified from 9 to 18 November 2026 for a ₹250 modification fee per occasion.
Worth knowing: the typing skill test for Senior Clerk and Junior Accounts Assistant has been dispensed with for CEN 06/2026. The notice says candidates are still expected to type adequately, and proficiency will be assessed after joining.
