Preliminary Examination

Section A (compulsory): General knowledge & General Science including General knowledge of Rajasthan and its Geography, Economy and culture
200 maximum marks, 2 hours, objective type.
Section B (one optional paper)
200 maximum marks, 2 hours, objective type. The marks of the Preliminary Examination are not counted for the final order of merit.

Paper I: Hindi
100 maximum marks, 3 hours, conventional type. Standard of Senior Secondary level.
Paper II: Social aspects of Engineering
100 maximum marks, 3 hours, conventional type.
Papers III and IV: optional subject
One subject, two papers, 200 marks for each paper, 3 hours each.
