About this notification
CBSE has declared the Tier 2 results for Primary Teachers (PRTs) and Junior Secretariat Assistants (JSAs) in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, under Recruitment Notification 01/2025. The press release is dated 14 September 2026 and is the twelfth in a series that began on 17 August 2026, when PGT and TGT (Computer Science), Finance Officer and Stenographer Grade-I results came out first. Each phase was published with its final answer keys on CBSE’s recruitment page.
What the result means depends on the post.
- PRT — selection includes an interview, so this result is your status for shortlisting to the interview. Tier 2 marksheets for interview posts will be released within 15 days of the final result, after the interviews.
- JSA — selection is by a skill test, not an interview. For posts without an interview, Tier 2 marks are shown in the login along with the result. Skill-test schedules and call letters will appear in the login once fixed with KVS/NVS.
Candidates for whom the notification gives a choice between KVS and NVS, or between regions, submit that preference through the application portal within the period shown in their login — CBSE advises doing so carefully.
Under the notification, interview candidates are shortlisted at three per vacancy and skill-test candidates at five per vacancy, and the final merit for interview posts weighs Tier 2 at 85% and the interview at 15%.
