No vacancies are advertised here. The Board will state department-wise and service-wise vacancies when it advertises each post’s main examination. Only candidates who score at least 40% in the CET (SC and ST: up to 5% relaxation) can sit those main examinations. The CET score is valid for three years from the result. Scores from CET (Graduation Level) 2024 expired on 11 February 2026, so those candidates had to apply again.
Exam date: the advertisement set the exam for 1–3 December 2026. On 28 September 2026 the Board’s press note moved it, because of the State Election Commission’s urban-body and panchayat elections, to a proposed 16–18 January 2027: two shifts a day on 16 and 17 January and one morning shift on 18 January. Admit cards will be issued online only, through SSO login and the Recruitment Portal.
The paper: 150 objective questions, 300 marks, three hours, covering the history, geography, polity and economy of India and Rajasthan, Rajasthan’s art and culture, science and technology, reasoning and mathematics, current affairs, computers, general Hindi and general English. One-third of a question’s marks is deducted for a wrong answer. Each question has five options; option E is for “not attempted”, and a candidate who leaves more than 10% of questions with no bubble filled is disqualified.
