IBPS Clerk (CSA-XVI) 2026 — Prelims in October, Call Letter Window Closed; Mains December
IBPS released the call letter for the online preliminary examination of CRP CSA-XVI (Customer Service Associate / Clerk), and its call-letter page on ibpsreg.ibps.in now reads "Call letter Download is over". The notification's tentative schedule puts the preliminary exam in October 2026, its result in November and the main examination in December 2026. Updated indicative vacancies as on 29 September 2026 are in the annexure.

- A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, held on 21 August 2026, and proficiency in the local language of the state/UT applied for.
About this notification
IBPS posted the online preliminary examination call letter for CRP CSA-XVI on 1 October 2026, for download from ibpsreg.ibps.in with the registration number and password. That download window has closed: the call-letter page now reads “Call letter Download is over”. The call letter carries the centre, date and session, and had to be brought to the examination with a valid photo ID (clause Q and N of the notification).
The notification’s tentative schedule places the preliminary examination in October 2026, its result in November, the main examination in December 2026 and provisional allotment in March 2027. The preliminary paper is 100 questions for 100 marks in 60 minutes, with one-fourth mark deducted per wrong answer.
On 29 September 2026 IBPS issued a corrigendum updating the indicative vacancies state-wise (Annexure I); all other terms of the 1 August 2026 notification are unchanged. Vacancies are indicative and provisional allotment follows the actual vacancies banks report.
