यूपीटेट 2026 परिणाम — आयोग ने अंक बदलने की माँग खारिज की, प्रमाणपत्र सुधार जल्द ऑनलाइन

After the UPTET-2026 result was declared, many candidates asked the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission to revise it. The Commission set up a six-member committee to examine the representations. In a press release dated 16 September 2026, it sorted them into four groups and gave its decision on each.

Complaint	Commission’s decision
Roll number or question-booklet number circles on the OMR sheet left blank or filled wrongly	Rejected. Candidates were told through the advertisement, admit card, OMR sheet and invigilators that such an OMR would not be evaluated, and evaluation is fully automated.
Score fell after normalisation	Rejected. The advertisement said normalisation would apply if the exam ran in more than one shift or day; the Commission calls it a scientific process upheld by courts.
Marks lower because of the answer key	Rejected, together with the normalisation complaints — no change to marks or normalised scores.
Errors in name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth or category on the pass certificate	Accepted. Online applications for correction will be taken soon through the Commission’s portal, and a corrected certificate can be obtained.

The examination was held on 2, 3 and 4 July 2026 under Advertisement No. 01/UPTET/2026. Under that advertisement, the pass mark is 90 of 150 (60%) for General candidates and 82 of 150 (55%) for reserved categories, and the certificate — valid for life — is issued through DigiLocker.
