The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the result of the Senior Teacher (Secondary Education Department) Competitive Examination 2025 for the Social Science subject. The notice is dated 9 October 2026.
What the result is
The written exam for Social Science, made up of the Group A General Knowledge paper and the Social Science paper (both objective type), was held on 12 July 2026. Candidates who appeared in both papers and secured the minimum qualifying marks under the service rules have been placed on a provisional list for eligibility checking.
- Candidates on the list (non-scheduled area): 1,217
- Cut-off for the general (unreserved) category: 223.56 marks
- For several other categories the cut-off is shown as ALL, meaning every candidate with the minimum qualifying marks is included; where no candidate reached the minimum marks the notice shows N.A.
- Roll numbers marked P are provisional.
This list is only for document verification. RPSC states clearly that it is not a selection list or a merit list. The final result will be issued by the Commission after the Secondary Education Department, Bikaner, has verified documents.
What shortlisted candidates must do
- Log in with your SSO ID on the recruitment portal and open My Recruitment, then Detailed Form Cum Scrutiny, then Apply Now.
- Fill in the online detailed application form between 15 October 2026 and 21 October 2026 (until 11:59 pm).
- After submitting, print the complete form in two copies and keep them safe.
- Wait for the Secondary Education Department, Bikaner, to announce the date, time and venue for document verification. RPSC says it will not send candidates a separate message about this.
- Attend document verification with both printed copies of the form, all original documents and self-attested copies. A candidate who does not appear on the fixed date will be treated as ineligible and left out of the result.
Eligibility will be checked against the conditions of the advertisement, and candidacy will be cancelled for anyone who does not meet them.
Other points in the notice
- 880 candidates have been declared disqualified because they left more than 10 percent of questions without marking any of the five options on the OMR sheet, as warned in the detailed advertisement of 17 July 2025. Their roll numbers are being published separately by the Commission.
- The result of one roll number has been kept in a sealed cover because a case is pending before the Rajasthan High Court.
