केन्द्रीय चयन पर्षद (सिपाही भर्ती) ने विज्ञापन संख्या 01/2026 के अंतर्गत बिहार पुलिस की विशेष शाखा में सिपाही (सामान्य बंद संवर्ग) के 83 पदों की अंतिम चयन सूची जारी की है। सभी 83 पद भर गए हैं। चयनित अभ्यर्थियों को 25 अक्टूबर से 20 नवंबर 2026 के बीच मूल प्रमाण-पत्रों के साथ विशेष शाखा में योगदान करना होगा।

The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar published the final selection list for Advertisement No. 01/2026 — Constable (General Duty Close Cadre) in the Special Branch of Bihar Police — on 9 October 2026. All 83 posts are filled; no vacancy is left in any category.
How the recruitment ran, from the result notice:
- The advertisement for 83 posts was published on 29 January 2026.
- Admit cards were issued to 2,24,429 applicants, and a written examination of two papers was held on 24 June 2026.
- On 18 August 2026, 254 candidates were called for the physical standard test (height, chest and weight measurement) in a 1:3 ratio.
- The test was held on 12 September 2026 at the Bihar Veterinary College ground, Patna: 250 appeared, 13 failed and 237 passed (86 women and 151 men).
- The final merit list was drawn up from the written-examination marks.

Joining: selected candidates must report in person to the Special Branch, Bihar, between 25 October and 20 November 2026, with original certificates (education, date of birth, caste and residence, non-creamy-layer or EWS certificate as applicable) and a photo identity card. Candidature can be cancelled for not joining in that period. Appointment follows character verification and a medical examination by the appointing authority, an officer of Superintendent of Police rank in the Special Branch.
